Arias POV Todays the grand final between the otters and the dolphins. Obviously, were winning. The otters have sport, the dolphins have education. I really didnt want to be here, but in another hopeless attempt to be popular, Sam dragged me down here. The buzzer rang and the otters won. Disappointedly, the dolphins walked back to the locker rooms, and the otters gathered in the school gym for a party. Once again, Sam dragged me in. She started dancing with some other guys and I saw her making out with one of them. I guess her plan for popularity was past stage one. "We have some special guests tonight guys!" the DJ announced. I really didnt care. Jake, the schools quarter back was walking up to me. I was the main bully target and I needed to hide. I grabbed the first guy who walked past. I started staring into his deep brown eyes. He was extremely cute. His warm smile, his amazing hair and his gorgeous eyes almost brought me to my knees. "Please hide me," I asked him. He looked into my desperate eyes and took my hand as he smiled. "Sure." The guy took me out onto the dance floor and we started slow dancing. His grip was welcoming and his breath was warm. I hadnt seen him before. He mustve been one of the guests. I saw Jake walking up to us. I guess my plan didnt work. "Dude! Its been so long!" Jake slurred. "Yeah," my mystery man replied awkwardly. "I didnt think you would like As type." "As type?" the guys asked. "Yeah. Her type. You know: the loser, the reject, the teachers pet." The guy didnt seem to like my type so he let go of me. "I dont," he said with apologetic eyes. My mind was about to burst. How can anyone be so heartless? Maybe he should learn to know people before judging them. Why would anyone be so stupid to listen to Jake, especially when hes drunk? I looked into the guys eyes again. Ive seen them before. Or could I be dreaming? Im dreaming. I dont know anyone so rude. I just walked away angrily. The guy followed me. "Sorry," he said. "Just leave me alone. Im not your type." I walked away again and fell down as I tripped over someones foot. A curly haired guy held up his hand and pulled me up again. "Thanks," I said as I looked at his eyes. "No problem." "Nick?" "Yeah. Thats me. Who are you?" he asked raising an eyebrow. "Its me!" "Who?" "Gentle music," I said smiling to see if he would remember me. "Aria!" he screamed. "Its been years!" "Seven, almost eight to be exact, I said. Since the accident seven years ago." I looked down. "Listen Aria, my family is really sorry about what happened. We really didnt want to leave you guys." "Its okay Nick. Its not your fault. I understand with your career and everything." I looked at Nick happily. "Youve grown up so much Nick. Youre hair is still the same though. Curly." Nick smiled. "Its been so long. I havent seen you and your other two brothers forever. I missed you guys. Without you guys, Im nothing. I mean nothing. I have one friend at school and Im constantly being beat up." "Two brothers?" Nick asked sounding really confused. "Yeah. Joe and Kevin." "I forgot to tell you!" We have a bonus Jonas! "You have a bonus Jonas! Oh my goodness! Girl or boy? Name? Age?" "Hes a little boy. His name is Frankie and hes seven." "Wow! Is he cute?" "The cutest of all the Jonass!" a voice from behind me said. I turned around a saw a familiar face. He didnt have his old glasses on, but he still had his familiar dark sideburns. "Kevin," I screamed as he pulled me into a hug. "Aria. I never thought wed see you again." "How can you not? You still have a house that you never live in next door to me!" "I know. Were finally off our tour. We can come and live back there for a couple of months and when were not on tour, we can live back there." "We can even stay for your birthday." "Boys. You are the brothers I never had. Unlike some of the jerks here at this school." "What do you mean?" Nick asked. "You remember Jake? The guy who beat Joe up?" The two brothers looked at each other and nodded. "He was walking up to me, scared I asked another guy to dance. We started dancing, and then Jake came up to us. He told the guy that I wasnt his type and completely started trashing me. He ditched me without getting to know me. But that just happens at a school like this to a loser like me." "Dont say that Aria. Youre an amazing girl. Where is this guy?" Kevin asked. I looked around and saw the guy looking at us. "Him," I whispered as I pointed at him. Nick and Kevin looked at each other again awkwardly. "Do you know his name?" Nick asked. "No, and I really dont care." "A!" a voice called and I turned around. It was Sam. "Im heading home!" she called. I turned back to the guys. "Ill head home too. I have a few assignments due soon and I want to get ahead." "Okay. Well move back into our old house tomorrow." "Ill see you guys then. Tell Joe I said hi." "We will."
