Operation: Darkside is a Sci-Fi oriented scenario in the vein of Firefly/Serenity. When: September 13th - 14th, 2008 Where: Georgia Airsoft Field, Athens GA The frontier had always belonged to colonists, until the Federal Planetary Alliance was established. Several key worlds banded together and leveraged their collective economic and military might against the chaotic uncertainty that was life in the outer worlds. Their aim was simple: establish a governing body that could set the galaxy on a path to establishing order. Free territories began to be annexed without choice. Worlds that lay on interstellar trade routes were declared properties of the Federalist Alliance, forcing lawful colonists to seek their fortunes elsewhere. Lines were being drawn across the sky; the frontier was no longer free, but few realized it. Those that had shed blood and sweat to carve out new homes were filled with dissent. The galaxy held its breath...
